This recall affects the following Peak Refuel products which the following lot numbers:

How do I know if my product is affected?

The products and lot numbers are listed above for all potential products affected.  Please check the back of your pouch in the top left corner.  If it includes the Lot number(s) above, you are advised to discard that meal. If your product does not contain that Lot number, your product is safe to use.  If you purchased a Basecamp Bucket 3.0, it is recommended to check those meals in the bucket for the above Lot numbers.

Why is this product being recalled?

The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced a product recall involving chicken on October 9th, 2024. The fully cooked chicken has been recalled by one of our suppliers (BrucePac) for the possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes. Are the Grilled Chicken Dices unsafe to eat?

The Grilled Chicken Dices with the lot numbers listed above are considered unsafe for consumption by the FSIS. For the most up to date information regarding the recall, click here.

What if I've already consumed my meals?

Currently, there have been no illnesses or adverse reactions reported due to consumption of the recalled products. However, if you have consumed one of the recalled products and are concerned about an illness, please contact a healthcare provider. Persons who experience flu-like symptoms within two months after eating contaminated food should seek medical care and tell the health care provide about eating the contaminated food. 

Are the above meals still available for purchase?

As a precautionary measure, these products will be out-of-stock until we are confident there has been no cross contamination.

If I have unopened pouches of this product, what should I do?

If you still have any unconsumed pouches of this product with the lot numbers listed above, please contact us with a photo of all pouches before. To dispose of this product place in an outside trash receptacle. Please do not ship this product back to Peak Refuel.

Will my recalled product be refunded or replaced?

Customers who have purchased the meals with the lot numbers listed above will be issued Peak Refuel equivalent to the product purchased within the next 7-10 business days.

What if I have recalled product but have not received a notification email?

Recall notifications will send by the end of October 2024. If you have not received a notification by this date and you believe you have recalled product, please first verify that your product is the above meals having matching lot numbers. Once verified, contact our customer service email bprecall@peakrefuel.com 

How do I get a refund if I did not purchase the product directly from Peak Refuel?

If you did not receive an email, please contact bprecall@peakrefuel.com and customer service will assist you.

Will my recalled product be refunded or replaced?

Customers who have purchased the meals from PeakRefuel.com with the lot numbers listed above will be issued Peak Refuel credit to the product purchased within the next 7-10 business days. Please contact bprecall@peakrefuel.com for more information.
