I don't go camping. I ordered these to have in my pantry for emergency food. I tried a few of these meals & I LOVE THEM !!! They are very delicious .. Tastes like I cooked these on my stove from scratch.. I eat these whenever I don't want to cook or I take a pouch to work for lunch, lol.. These are certainly worth the cost !! Ordering more.

I have had this multiple times in the past. But this time, the meat was still crunchy, not soft as it should be after 25-30 minutes. The pasta was fine. I generally add a little more water than recommended. Stirred before sealing the bag.

Four friends and I went backpacking for 5 nights in the Beartooth Mountains, we brought 24 Peak Refuel meals with us. All of them far exceeded our expectations EXCEPT for this one. We had three of these and the meat never rehydrated in any of them, even with us tryin different methods to keep the water as hot as possible for the recommended ten minutes. On the last one we set the bag inside of a boiling pot of water for nearly 20 minutes to keep the temp as high as possible and the result was the same. Each bite had an awful crunch of meat. Also, when packing in and packing out this bag was tough to clean out, extremely greasy. But again, we tried every variety of Peak Refuel and this is the only one we didn't like.

This is so dang good! I camp/hunt/fish out of my off-road popup camper most of the time, so I have most of the cooking comforts of home. I take "real food" with me on my trips, but I prefer this meal over something I cook on the camper stove. This just tastes so good! It's got lots of protein and I love the ease of it.

I honestly expected this dish to be rather bland & tasteless like so many other commercially prepared marinara dishes but, boy, was I wrong! The sauce is hearty, the pasta cooked up perfectly with a minimum of water & the meal was so good that I almost forgot to snap a picture before I finished my serving. But I think the truly astonishing thing about this meal is the sheer amount of meat that's included. I often find myself hungry in short order on pasta dishes but there is NO WAY you're going to go hungry with all of the protein this meal packs!

I am out on the trail backpacking and camping 30 days a year. I have tried every major brand of freeze-dried meals. The reasons that I now only purchase Peak 2 Refuel: Real meat and NO fillers. Major source of protein. Peak 2 Refuel package ingredients use significantly less sodium, cholesterol, sugar, and chemicals VS their competitors. This to me is extremely important! There is a good reason why the expire date on Peak 2 Refuel is about 2 or 3 years VS their competition that I have seen expire dates typically 15 to 25 years. Because their competitors’ products are loaded in chemicals!

Surprisingly delicious, and chock full of calories! These are the same size as Mountain House meals but contain double the calories, and taste better to boot! The Sausage and Biscuits are to die for, it's about the best feeling ever waking up after hiking 12 miles and getting to eat that out in the backcountry.

So quick and easy. Took them ice fishing for a 3 day trip. Half asleep before coffee kicked in still easy to make. My 10 year old got hunger at one point and had no problem making it on his own. He added more liquid and made this more of a soup. very good "10 out of 10 please get more!!"

My favorite go to backpacking meal! My little (5) loves it as well! Always a win when you find something your kiddo likes too! For a little extra that goes so well with this bring a small bit of bread, the cheese and meat left at the bottom of the bag are perfectly soaked up and enjoyed! No food left behind! So delicious!

What can I say?? This meal is good as home made and very filling. Packs some nice calories after a day of hiking. I also appreciate the minimal amount of water needed to rehydrate this meal, which is definitely a bonus if you are dry camping.

The best source of protein I have found in any freeze-dried meal. The meat is tender and delicious, the cheese and tomato sauce isn't too strong, and the noodles are good. A very generous portion. Has become a staple at my house.

This was delicious. I was too bored to cook at home and decided to make this since it's been sitting on my shelf for a bit, since I was feeling lazy. I'm pretty sure it was one of the most delicious meals i've eaten in a long time, and it was a freeze dried meal to boot! I've decided when I'm camping/hunting I'm just going to bring more peak meals, it's way easier and more delicious than taking all the time to cook while freezing. Absolutely recommend, even if it's because you're too lazy to cook while sitting around at home.

Great flavor. I was at 8,500-9,000 feet when I ate this. Maybe needed to let it sit a couple xtra minutes, because my noodles were not quite ready. Still enjoyed it. Flavor was good

I was really excited to try this due to the high protein content. The flavor was amazing! The noodles had a very good texture too. The beef chunks were slightly crunchy, even after waiting several minutes longer. If you guys dial in the meat texture I just might eat this at home too! This one will have a place in my pack.

Beyond Delicious! I love the Beef Pasta Marinara. The 2 serving pouch really could feed two people. There is a lot of food in that pouch. The sauce, meat, and noodles combine together perfectly and taste so good. This is a favorite of mine, and it feels good to have a hot meal while out guiding bison hunts on the Henrys.

This is my favorite meal so far. The creamy flavor of the sauce is unreal and the pasta cooks up perfectly. I'll be headed down to Zion's in June and will be eating this stuff EVERY NIGHT!

Tried the beef pasta marinara and loved the flavor. These meals are great and you get plenty of food in one pack, Me and my husband were able to share it. We love that these products use all natural meat and you get plenty of protein. I would recommend these products to anyone.
